Maybe someone should inform the mountain lions that humans = bad. It’s not like people expect others to allow some big carnivore to eat their pets/livestock, protected species or not. Maybe we just need to do something to keep the mountain lions from coming into human habitats? Like, maybe release a bunch of rabbits into the wild so they have food to eat?

Yeah, we wanted food production that could keep up with the demand of a growing population. Now we have people that care more about a chicken’s mental health than they care about hungry poor people that can’t afford eggs. Good job humans! I’m sure the Chicken God will reward us for protecting the emotional well-being of his horde of mindless meat robots in the afterlife! The poors will just have to get a second or third job if they want to eat historically inexpensive breakfast foods. It’s worth it simply for the look on the chicken’s emotionless, cold face when it steps food into a spacious field of dirt and shit. And the virtue signaling that the marketing department gets to print on the cartons is just a bonus! “Happy” chickens! Because chickens are capable of feeling complex human emotions! And nothing tastes better than some good ol’ anthropomorphism!

This is a new song we made to enter the NPR Tiny Desk competition but I missed the application deadline! Oh well. It’s 2 acoustic guitars, one of which being a nylon string. We lost one of the DI inputs so we just used large diaphragm condensers. Filmed in a garage with a tiny desk, as per the contest rules. Missed out entering the competition but maybe someone can enjoy it anyway?

That’s always what my thought process is too. Nobody was originally from anywhere, really. I’m sure all the plants and animals that existed in that space for IDK, billions of years before primitive humans crawled across a land bridge would take issue with us saying humans had always been there. It’s not like the “aboriginal” people even purchased the land from the previous inhabitants; probably just ate and killed them. A bit worse than eminent domain if you ask me.

I think they’re just being realistic. People feel good about their leaders virtue signaling by sanctioning Russia, but it’s just a slap on the wrist. They’re still doing the same thing they were doing a year ago, with or without sanctions. Supplying Ukraine with weapons likely goes a bit further to aid things, but we’re still handing out guns, one year later.

Probably in some tourist area, or near an airport or something. Definitely not near a Costco. Although, to be fair, people are really bad with money. They’ll pay a lot of extra for convenience. Oh, and being in the regressive US which still grasps on to tipping culture, go ahead and just add 20% more to each menu item!
