Always though those handwritten signs saying to invest and learn real estate seem questionable. I’ve seen homeless dudes with better looking signs and I’m supposed to trust them with a bunch of money?

Part of it is fear mongering. News reports on doom and gloom, exaggerating the situation, then it rains a bit and it’s fine until next year. It’s a ‘boy who cried wolf’ thing. People still water their lawns, agriculture survives, and golf courses stay green. So even though there was a shortage of water that season, it didn’t affect anyone meaningfully even though the media said it’s the worst drought in history with record breaking heat and blah blah blah. I feel like some objective honesty would go a long way to keep people mindful of things like this but new outlets need clicks so we get exaggeration and fear mongering. When the water company shuts our water off, or they start banning grass lawns, then I’ll start to worry; maybe even move somewhere else.

So comparatively, it’ll be worse next year. So I won’t really start caring until next year. Unless the year after that is supposed to be worse. In that case I’ll check in every 5 years and try to determine if things are to a point where people actually start watering their lawn less, signifying people that there actually is a water shortage and it’s not just a typical California summer.

It will. And then there’ll be another drought. Then it’ll rain a bunch. Then another drought. Then fires, then rain again. Then another drought, followed by some fires, and then some rain. And we’ll be surprised by this. It’ll be on the news, naturally. Each year will have the worst blank of the decade. We’ll definitely click links associated with such predictable weather patterns. And we also won’t change a thing and be fine in the end. Miraculous?

The sound absorption panels also make the room nicer for listening to music, or watching movies or something. Takes away the echo. They can be pricey but also something that can be made yourself if you Google it. The hardest part is finding the right insulation material that goes inside. After that, you can choose your own fabric to cover them so it can be a printed pattern or just a solid color that compliments the room.

Maybe get some decorative sound absorption panels? I’m sure they have them with music themed art. You can hang the instruments on the walls with wall mounts, or a wooden case with glass on the front if you don’t want the dust all over it. I guess I’m thinking of more of a jam room than just a themed room.

That makes sense. I was just tiring to think of a reason why there would actually be drugs disguised as candy that was then handed out from a person’s house to children. I guess there isn’t one, but we hear this myth every year I think.

It just doesn’t logically make sense. Someone that has a lot of drugs has them for use or to sell. They’re going to just give them away and draw unwanted attention to their home? Stupidest thing I’ve ever heard if you think about it for a minute.

Only thing that makes sense is if candy bags were used for smuggling purposes and it got mixed up with real candy, but still pretty unlikely since that would be an expensive mixup.

Haterbait - “Cindy”

It’s a song I made with a friend. Ended up adding some orchestral stuff with midi but I didn’t really know how to end it. Recorded the vocals a while ago; I think they’re a bit rough. It’s about some person named Cindy who I never met but just used as a subject for a cheesy love song. I most recently added the bass guitar, drums, and lead guitar to the ending and I like how it turned out, although it might be a bit loud and abrupt compared to the previous parts.
