My covid cough came back, fortunately without the covid. So I ordered pho for lunch. Never had pho to go, so we'll see how that works. But I feel like crap and need some warm nutritious soup.

I found out this morning that I have covid. Antigen test was negative but PCR was positive. It sucks.

It's too hot under my comforter and far too cold without it. And one of my ears is plugged up.

With 4 weeks it's probably too late to get into real pool-based PT. But SwimRVA has a therapy pool with a treadmill, and is not outrageously expensive.

I've had three big back surgeries. My secret tip is pool-based PT ahead of time to strengthen your core. And meal prep or freeze a bunch of easy meals for the recovery. You can do this!

I don't have covid, flu, strep throat or pneumonia visible on an xray, but I'm sick enough that the doc at Patient first gave me antibiotics and cough medicine. My whole body hurts, but yay vaccines!

I literally learned to drive on two inches of ice, having grown up in Chicago. I try my best to never drive here when it is icy.

I do love the occasional trip back home in the winter, though. Driving through a snowstorm on the highway with people who do know how to do it is one of my life's small pleasures!

GoPuff is a good option for having a COVID test no-contact dropped off. A spendy option, but a very useful one. Plus they have juice, what I always want with a fever.

Why can't I sleep? I've been up since 2:30, contemplating the day. Whatever I do, I expect I will be doing it with my eyes mostly shut.

Thirding Cary Street Vets. All of the people there have been great. They took great care of my cat as she aged, and I'm looking forward to going back with new kittens when they show up in my life.

Richmond Family Dentistry on Patterson. They are near the intersection of Parham and Patterson.

OP could be describing me. I went a long time without a dental visit due to massive fear. When I gathered all my courage and went in just to talk to the receptionist, she said they were very comfortable with dental fears patients, and they turned out to be great! They knocked me out for several hours of work, and gave me nitrous for the follow -up

They are very clear with insurance and planning and payment as well.
