Ontically personhood has been and is used as a legal construct.
We can also consider personhood in a metaphysical sense.

It’s sort of like saying tofurkey is a substitute for turkey—it is, but it’s also markedly different.
I wouldn’t say carob to chocolate is like an impossible burger to the real thing (which is discernibly different, but not to the degree of carob to chocolate).

I went to buy some drum sticks at a music store and cashier recommended Hiatus Kaiyote.
This was maybe 2016 or 2017…lol still something anyone can do.

No. Edibility pertains to “fitness or suitability to be eaten.”
Poisonous foods aren’t “edible” because we’re not fit/suited to eat them.
