Also the receivers didn’t have a nifty little “money” sign they did as a signature
So cringe

Excellent ballplayer, certainly one of the best third basemen of his era, caught too much shit from the franchises he played for, solid choice for the Hall.

“Zero Day” suggests maybe a cybersecurity theme? Terrorists hack into critical infrastructure or the nuclear stockpile? I’m grasping at straws

You don’t actually have to be of the local ethnicity to be a zoological expert in local fauna. Just like you don’t have to be of a certain race to be an expert in virology, astronomy, etc. Seems weird to insist your scientists fill certain race quotas.

If you want to be put through the ringer, his performance in The Crucible is fucking heavy. The whole adaptation is fucking heavy.

It’s been a while since I read it but seems like you could go some way in “updating” Marlowe to make him a somewhat more palatable narrator, same as Captain Willard. Don’t give him blatantly modern attitudes because that would be stupid and cringey, but give him enough of a conscience for the modern viewer.
Not that too many people would want to see this anyway.

Cameron and Villenueve I think are top tier. Definitely Cameron at least.
As for Soderberg, he’s an extremely capable craftsman and has some real achievements to his name, but he takes risks which means a lot of misses too. Second Tier seems right.

This is true. And nobody actually knew "the money" existed except for Alonzo's crew. So Jake basically has an invisible million.

Jake had the money, not Alonzo. That was why him and Alonzo were scrapping.
