There still aren’t charges brought against the men guilty of this. Letting it slip into obscurity just because a few days has passed is exactly what those guilty of these types of assaults are hoping for.

It was homecoming week and some homes had been getting pranked with toilet paper. A group of boys were on their way to a friends house when the dad and some of his buddies stopped them and forced them out of the car onto their knees while being screamed at. One of the men works at the school. One of the men held a flamethrower pointed at the kids. All but one of the kids were POC. No charges were filed other than a minor disorderly conduct against one of the men.

I think we’ve seen all over the country that charges against people committing violent crimes or hate crimes especially against kids aren’t prosecuted until there’s too much outside coverage to ignore. We need to make enough noise that the DA’s hand is forced.

If you’re going to disqualify racist people in rural Wisconsin from jobs with kids you will find a very small pool of possible employees.
