Identify what mechanisms exist for the POTUS and Congress to give the remainder to Baltimore, specifically.
I'd love to hear it.

You mean the billions worth of 40-30 year old equipment that your tax dollars were being spent to keep it in storage?
Just speaking as someone who lives in Irvington, but I'm ok with old Cold War and Post Cold War equipment being used to its purpose.

Tradition, and a desire to change the church as a member of the flock.
I don't care if it's a futile effort, I've found comfort and safety in the faith, and I want to ensure that all can also experience that comfort and safety, while also punishing those who abuse that trust.

The source is the equipment they're being given.
The Abrams they're getting? They're not the modern variant, they're the OG variant that is still being tooled down before its sent overseas.
HIMARS? Cold War tech.
M117 APCs? 90s.
Javilens and Stingers? Cold War.
RAAM systems? Cold War.
Switchblade Drones? They're modern tech, but they're single use, and they only got 700.
TOW missiles? Cold War.
Bradley's? Cold War.
HARM missiles? Cold War.
HMMWVs? Cold War.
M113 APCs? EARLY Cold War.

I could go on, but it's pretty clear the vast majority of the weapons systems we've sent to Ukraine are very outdated to anyone with even a passing knowledge of them.
What source do you have that they've been getting primarily cutting-edge edge tech? Cause if we're dragging our feet to give them F-16s I find the idea that they're getting the best of our newer equipment a tad silly.

>But yes, historically speaking the past few decades, there has been little movement on labor rights as the rich pour money into campaigns.
I'd actually argue that following labor taking blow after blow from the 90s-2000s, there's been a massive labor push back.
Unionization efforts and popular support for unions are the highest we've seen in decades.

OR, the people who actually want police reform can just call themselves police reformers instead of ACAB.
Because ACAB has the pretty strong connotation that policing = Cops bad.

>Well what is to be done if education is irreformable and the kids will never amount to much? Simply put, the city/state/federal government should simply pay them to stay out of society, live comfortably, and avoid interaction with the rest of us. The cost of the integration into the broader economy and society of Baltimore of these kids is far too high relative to their expected lifetime productivity and sociability. Instead, we should pay them to stay out, and let the rest of us create a future here.
You do realize this isn't an answer, and that it's not even fully kicking the can down the road further. You're tapping the can lightly.

Will the portion from Athol to the beltway be repaved? That is my major concern. The moment you cross from irvington to Baltimore County is clear as day, since your car no longer feels as if it's off road.

I'd argue we need to distribute the money to actually fixing the school buildings and hiring more teachers first, before we can even begin thinking about paying administrators at the same rate or more.
Do you think the administrators have earned their pay? I don't.

>Why is it infuriating that we pay the schools CEO
Because the CEO of said school system overlooked a system so blatantly mismanaged they graduated multiple classes that shouldn't have been, year after year?
Because they're the CEO of a system that, for some reason, has an insanely top heavy teacher-administrator ratio?
How about the fact the Baltimore City CEOs haven't done a good job for a couple decades. Is that good enough of a reason?

Idle hours is fantastic, I've heard some good things about Mother's but I haven't checked it out, Pub Dog on Cross is nice because it's very much not a nightclub bar, but more of a pub.
Riverside is also worth checking out.

The area that's had three shootings in the past month, and two days ago a brawl where one woman beat another woman to the ground, lifted her head up by the hair, and kept punching her?
Cause that's the area I work in, and I saw that incident first hand two days ago.
What came through was that the fed hill club scene is not one I'd really recommend to anyone. Hampden and Canton are much better to actually enjoy a night out and not have to worry about some drunk asshole starting something.

I work in the heart of the fed hill nightlife, so I'm just gonna call you out on that. The more clublike bars are ratchet as all hell, but the further you get into fed, and get into the smaller bars, the more chill it gets.
