I’m a social worker, and I had a 12 yr old kid I was working with that day. I had the special glasses for him to wear, and got to see his face when he first looked up. His reaction was priceless.

They are pretty easily identifiable. Long, continuous skinny tracks.

I just had this very conversation with my husband yesterday while we were out skiing. I was annoyed that there were a lot of boot prints in the tracks (in a public park—not dedicated trails). But then I remembered that before I took up x country skiing, we were snowshoeing in the same park, and my husband had to point out that I was ruining the ski tracks, because I was oblivious. I suspect this is the case a lot of the time—people just aren’t aware. If they are, and do it anyway, it’s not cool. But I realized I had to give people some slack because that was me just a few years ago.

I’m with you. I love fall too, but my favorite time of year is winter. My husband hopes to retire one day and spend winters in a warmer climate. I’ll miss him.

Sorry. It seems like a lot of people are in the same boat, but you’re not supposed to complain because others have it worse. I hear you. It isn’t so much about the rent increase, it’s the lack of any maintenance of the property. That would frustrate me too. It’s a really hard time for everyone right now. Hopefully you’ve found some useful tips from comments though.

I had a tricolor cavalier just like this sweet boy. He was nine when I moved to Vermont from Wisconsin. He sure loved it here, too!
