Reply to Why AI can not replace search index by shanoshamanizum
I think after a little while, ai should be integrated into searches rather than replace it.
Let's say I type a question in on Google. Everything appears to be the same, but with an additional link to AI's answer to your question.
For one, ai is expensive in processing power. So it only processes it when you click the link. This would be more efficient than it it having to process an answer for every search.
For 2, people are using chatgpt regardless. It will just be easier and cleaner having it built right into a search engine.

I mean, if you could somehow take off one face of the door and spray every little pocket, then reglue the face of the door back on, lol. But that's ridiculous. I don't think you are going to achieve what you want.

Maybe. But I'm referring to all land mammals, including ones that don't run.

Interesting, I didn't know about that at all. What about camels?
Also, my response was to argue against that we are the most stamina efficient land mammals. We'll not argue, but note that I have heard (watched a science video on it not too long ago) that there are land mammals that DONT run and are more stamina efficient than humans.

That's what I originally heard. And then I heard for mammals that run, we are. So idk which is true.

For running mammals, we rank quite high in endurance.

Reply to Why does hot air cool? by AspGuy25
If all the air is the same temp, such as in your explanation, air flowing would do the opposite from cooling. The kinetic energy of the flowing air would actually lose kinetic energy to heat stuff up more. Now it is very negligible, but it certainly isn't cooling anything down.

A conversation with them? Communicating at that distance means it would take 10s of thousands of years minimum for the message to be received. And more likely millions or billions of years. And then for them to return the message would add that much time again. This is ignoring all the other complications too.

Lol ur getting downvoted because u have a legitimate opinion. All while the other guy is getting upvoted for acting like a child in an argument because he's taking offense and got butt hurt over criticism of a show.

Beam as in handrail?
Edit: nvm when you say the top of the posts I thought you meant for the railing. If I'm visualizing what your talking about correctly, shimming it should be fine. Could use composite shims also to prevent it from rotting or rusting.

Reply to Painting; Sanding walls before adding a new layer of paint by simon_chess123
Im not a painter, so if there is one who can correct me if I'm wrong, I'd appreciate it.
I like to do a good scuff sand on semi glossy and glossy walls before painting. Cleaning the walls obviously as well. If not, the paint seems fairly easy to peel off afterward.
