Out of anywhere in Washington, Spokane of all cities was the first to do something progressive with zoning?
What the fuck?
I mean, that's ABSOLUTELY fantastic, but I'm very surprised it was Spokane.

Yep, that definitely worked out WAY better with it named as Washington now...

I live in Idaho next to Washington, at least in Washington the nutjobs are often outvoted by the more sane people from the westside, here all the stupid fucks get elected

>see Walla Walla in eastern Washington
Calling Walla Walla a college town is laughable at best compared to places like Pullman, Cheney, Ellensburg, and Bellingham where either a majority or a large percentage of the population (ie like 30-60% of the population) is students. Growing up in a real college town, you notice when all the students leave and when they come back. Plus large public universities bring events to smaller towns like Pullman that wouldn't have happened in a city of the same size without a large university.

Yep, before my outside cat died in 2019, she got fed on our front step and I saw a lot of trash pandas and other cats eating food out of her food bowl

Can confirm, just set out cat food and wait until evening and you'll more than likely get a trash panda

Pretty much all of Washington state is considered part of the PNW, and north Idaho is way more integrated with Eastern Washington state than southern Idaho, so specifically North Idaho

The north part of Idaho (where I live and this took place) is way closer culturally to Eastern and Central Washington state than to the southern part of Idaho. Therefore if you consider Washington state part of the Pacific Northwest, then North Idaho also is

I'm from Moscow (the town where the murders took place) and it's kind of weird knowing when I was out doordashing that evening, he was probably getting ready to kill people near where I was from
EDIT: Moscow Idaho in the Pacific Northwest of the United States.

I don't live in Seattle, I live in Idaho right next to Pullman. So I actually spend way more of my time in Spokane than I do Seattle.
