In my humble opinion, as a lifelong theater professional, the carpenter center which was originally a Loew’s movie palace designed in a Spanish and moorish theme, is the baddest ass theater in the area to enjoy a show in. Feels like you’re out in a courtyard under the stars.

I just wonder the logistics of replacing that thing. They make those bridges prefab so you can just drop them on the supports, and they can’t be that expensive compared to other big projects. But there’s no road down to it, it’s going to have to come in by rail and get lifted up. There’s a company in town called Cranemasters which specializes in just that, but it’d take coordination with the railway and a lot of planning.
