Probably going to close even if they reach their goal. Probably more than 50 k in debt. I heard the management is poor. Have had numerous friends work there over the years. The old produce manager from Eastside who sexually harassed me for years and got fired from Eastside got hired there as a grocery manager. Fuck them.

This is eerily similar to what I endured as a tenant in Providence some years ago. These men dont give a fuck. They want their money even if their houses are dilapidated and hazardous. He won't pay up and fix a thing until he is forced to do so with a series of lawsuits, which are expensive to fund and time consuming. This guy isn't the only one doing this to Prov tenants. My slumlord was from MA, too. Collected 5 grand a month from a house filled with mold and lead. Wish the state would get involved. I'm glad their voices are being heard. I dont miss living in Providence.

Thank you. I was going off of info that was 4 plus years old. Havent looked into since then, really. My cousin used to protest the lack of oversight / quality testing in medical marijuana cultivation at the state house, and I didn't know if they had made improvements. Great to know, and I'm glad they have!

Is RI testing for heavy metals and mold at the same standard as MA? Genuine question. From what I have been told, they do not & I have been buying from MA for that reason. The shit from the Slater has also gotten people sick from a pesticide they use. So I am very weary of RI's cannabis cultivation. Gonna stick with MA til I know for sure they do shit right.
