No one outside of the DMV knows who Snyder is or gives a shit about him. In fact, it's only a vocal minority even here who care.

Because they're both cases where people largely aren't spending their own money.
For healthcare, the vast majority of people have health insurance and only care about their copay.
For higher education, the open spigot of government guaranteed loans ensures tuition and costs will grow to match the available funds.

The door on the smart ovens is such an Achilles' heel. Ours crapped out after barely a year. They replaced it under warranty, which was nice I guess, but unless they made major changes to the mechanism I feel like it'll end up going again right after the warranty is up.

Where do you live that you don't have a bus route nearby but there's a metro station a short drive away?
All of the close-in jurisdictions have extensive connections to metro.....the only caveat is they're only for those which don't turn up their nose at walking a few blocks to then get on a bus.
