That would be a big plus for this project then, I think.

I wonder if this author is biased at all.
What I will say I agree with is how long it takes to get from the terminal to the subway, but that's a problem Grand Central has already. I commute out of GC every day, and for awhile my train was on the lower level. It was really annoying to come all the way up from the subway, then back down again. This new terminal is just a more dramatic example. Ideally there would be a plan to connect the lower terminal directly with some subway platforms so you don't have to go through a rigamarole to transfer once you arrive, but that feels like another multi-billion dollar project in itself.

My friend is in big law and their firm mandated 3 days a week return. Most people just don't come in still because it's not like they take attendance, and people often travel for work so it's not like it's unusual for them not to be in office even with the 3 day requirement.

We got engaged on the christopher street pier. I had a photographer there for pictures after but there were a few strangers nearby watching it happen too. One couple was pretty close and filmed the actual proposal, they approached us after and sent it to us and I thought it was a nice and fun thing to do.

I take the BDFM and ACE lines a lot, but every time I get on/off downtown I avoid the W 4th st stop like the plague. It's truly awful.
Surrounding stops like 14th street are way better, so even if it's a longer walk I'll get on/off there.
