Is it good enough to quit your day job? Because making sure you don’t fall asleep mid-shift seems important.

Not to mention testing someone in a way that could, you know, destroy the world.

You may want to wash it to avoid misunderstandings.

Psst, you forgot you were pretending not to be wingbot. You might want to scratch the first person pronouns.

What did you expect them to do? I mean they presumably don’t know where he lives. Now why Leslie wasn‘t watching/helping is a different matter. Maybe she thought he was playing it up for the camera until he bashed his head?

The title alone is a horror story. It just makes me feel so wrong even reading it.
I feel like this is a life lesson that should not have required vengeance seeking sentient video game characters to impart.

I would ask. Your grandfather was able to control the time of his death, and that seems like a gift if you ask me.

Fortunately, you seem to have gotten lucky in any case. But for the record, hardness and toughness are two different things. While a diamond is great if you want to scratch something, when it comes to smashing something they’re not exactly the best.
Fortunately, pressure or something must have saved you here. (Focusing force on a small point is great for breaking things) but next time you need to break something in order to survive, maybe spring for something else.

If you find someone else, at least it will be safe for you to grow close to them.

I’m confused at how he managed to get all those letters in place. He apparently didn’t write them until the night before he died, so who put them there?
Its also weird that you don’t remember taking any antibiotics. Even if you were delirious at first, surely you would remember finishing them?

Please do not torture or kill people because they cheat on their spouse. Like obviously cheating is wrong, but can we agree that murder is wrong too?

He was willing to separate. The only reason he didn’t was because of her cancer, something it would appear she staged. In order to torture and kill him no less. This is at least an ESH.

It’s tough to say whether you’re safe or not. You could try running, or you could pretend it’s fine. Those are probably you’re best options.
That said, I agree with everyone else. Check the Uber receipts, and research everything you can. Your mother probably made a deal with something, and you’d be better off knowing what.

A twin with damage to her spinal cord where the cancer was? I’m gonna say probably not, unless by twin you mean simulacrum.

Maybe Hades sent a soul to retrieve his dog for him? That might explain the eyes. It could also explain why Cerberus doesn’t want them to come in. He has a job after all, stop dead souls from passing through the threshold he Guard’s (in this case OP’s door.) I dunno, just spitballing.

I mean, lost dog usually doesn’t indicate given up.
Lifedeath999 t1_j8zayeg wrote
It sounds like you have Cerberus, and that Charon is knocking on your door. (Charon is my best guess. While not typically personally depicted with coins for eyes, it is Charon’s myth where that originates.) Alternatively, could just be a soul sent by Hades.
While it sounds like there are no issues with Cerberus, you may get into some trouble with one or more divine beings over this. That said, seems like a small price to pay all things considered.

It’s tough to say if it would stop it from leaving, but it sounds like you would have to be there to make it return to its painting.
