Just learnt it's a rather small country by population and half of it lives in and around the capital. Maybe that helps?

The rice varieties consumed and grown in India are different from rice varieties that are grown in other countries imo. Especially rice used in all East Asian cuisines seems to be rather sticky which I doubt is produced in India so these may be imported

I doubt this is true. There are loads of Indian users on reddit and several subs that constitute the reddit indiaverse.

Just a nitpick. The two listed indian songs are not by bands. One is a song for a movie, Akshay Kumar is not the singer but the guy who appears in the movie. The other one is a single artist like Katy perry or Justin Bieber, not a band.

If you don't listen to them you wouldn't know them. But they are extremely popular in the circles that they are popular in.

Two of those top 4 sports are being controlled economically or spearheaded by India. Field hockey and cricket.

Delhi is not that dense actually, it's in plains and it's expanding like anything horizontally. There are some areas in Delhi that are dense but overall it's not that dense.

That's not how it works. Cars and electronics around the world in general are going to be similarly priced in similar because of global network of manufacturing and cost. So an entry level dslr is a dslr that is a basic one with some features for beginners to start with. Moreover just because average wage is low doesn't mean the person buying it is themselves poor. Even with a small upper middle class by percentage, the number is likely to be much higher than UK because of the size of population

Yes because they own a huge catalog of songs starting 80s Bollywood, they are literally a music label like Sony music and the ilk. They have tons of artists on their payroll and own a ton of copyrights. Not all songs are going to be bangers. You guys just need to accept there are other countries in the world. God.

Nothing weird is going on there. Maybe just realize there are a billion Indians who listen to songs produced by tseries and just because you don't know about it doesn't mean something weird is going on there.

Set India is literally just a TV channel in India that started uploading all it's soaps and shows on YouTube. They are slowly removing them and moving it to their own app. It's like NBC uploading all content they own on YouTube.

Not to mention that AUM is not technically neither income nor wealth. It's just money they invest and return. The money can be taken out anytime and is owned by oligarchs.
