Sorry, it's private. And since the mezzo is still alive, I'd need to run it past her, first. And I'm kinda shy about that.

So I guess we'll continue to have differing opinions as to my veracity!

Besides, my Mama couldn't really carry a tune in a bucket. RIP Mama, you know I love you, but it's true. Thank you for singing to me, though.

This is the same technique I used with my children when they tripped on a chair leg, or hit something by accident and started crying. I would address the offending chair (or whatever), shake my finger at it and tell it how bad it was, then tell it it would have to be punished and put it in the corner, or tell it it couldn't talk to anyone for the rest of the day, or whatever ridiculous "punishment" I could come up with. Always got the child laughing instead of crying.

My only craving was for Thai food so I went to the same restaurant every work day for lunch. By the 3rd week they had my meal ready for me :)

The cravings are real. A good friend of mine told a story about his wife's pregnancy. One Saturday, his wife made a cherry pie after lunch. He spent the afternoon thinking about how good that pie was going to be after dinner. They had dinner. But the cherry pie did not appear. When he questioned his wife, she admitted that she had eaten the entire pie.
