Very hard to answer without being more specific on location. You are buying the main street/neighborhood more than a type of building. Personally, I wouldn't worry about parking.

Near the Greenfield GE is the best part of the neighborhood to live in, IMO.

Cops can do whatever they want and arrest you, but I bet you could get out of that one in court.

This is either a pro or a con, but neighborhoods like Greenfield have a lot of cranky yinzers who haven't moved for in some cases generations.
Parts of Greenfield away from Murray and Greenfield Ave can feel very isolated and not very walkable.
The housing stock is very hit or miss and could be a victim of deferred maintenance.
All that being said, as someone who has spent a lot of time in both Greenfield and Shadyside, I would be happy to live there.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that possessing your keys while being in your car is a DUI.

>Because Schneiderlochner is charged with a misdemeanor offense, a mandatory suspension under the state’s Confidence in Law Enforcement Act does not apply, Thomas said.
What a joke.

Yeah that site has been under construction for way too long and has been a total inconvenience considering the building won't be anything available to the public.

Across from the Funeral home? No, that's some random rich guy's art gallery project or something. I forget the story since it's boring.

Not the info you are looking for, but there are a few articles floating around about the Pittsburgh Glass Center's soon to break ground expansion. The facility on Penn Ave is being expanded over top of their surface parking lot and going from 15k to 26k sq ft. They are also creating gallery space and visiting artist apartments in a separate building on Penn.

I like privately owned establishments as a semi-regular in my neighborhood. Knowing and liking who provides the service or cooks the food and having that basic relationship is pretty important to a healthy urban lifestyle.

Does this count even diners? Sounds sad as fuck, and that's coming from someone who still masks for indoor public settings without food or drink.

Or the food just wasn't any good so people never really showed up. 2 years is about how long a place would make a run at it before realizing it just isn't happening.

For that type of 311 ticket you are going to need to be persistent. Create another 311 every few weeks.

The East End has always referred to city neighborhoods. I also didn't see any mention of Swissvale in that thread

How about we use the campus for everything but the Cop Lair? That sounds cheaper and more impactful to City services. That Strip District car prison needs to get back on the tax roll ASAP.
