I always explain it as a turn signal indicates your intention. If you don't signal until you're already doing the thing, it's not helpful.

The caption on the photo misidentifies the ship as a guided missile destroyer.
The navy has been very inconsistent in its naming/numbering conventions for a long time now.
The US is down to 11 Cruisers, and there has been a significant effort to decommission them entirely. So, this ship may not remain in service for very long, making the renaming kind of hollow.
The surface navy is in total disarray and has no idea what the future is going to look like.

Microwave popcorn bags contain a lot of PFAS, apparently. And the flavoring/"butter" is a bunch of crap.
I make my popcorn in a pot on the stove with coconut oil. I can flavor it with actual seasonings and real butter. So much better than anything I've ever made in a bag.
Soon, I'll be getting an induction stovetop, so I don't imagine my popcorn consumption will a major contributor to climate change.
