Sounds like you are cool with them not wanting to. Start making offers, increase it until someone agrees. I would check with them if small talk is included in your fee, I assume they would upcharge you. And before you ask, 25 dollars is not a good opening bid.

I like to preach that the safest you can be on the road is not on it at all. Plenty of people have no choice but to drive, so stay out of the way if you can.

I would look at billiards. They serve food and have lots of tables. As long as you aren't in there too late you can get a little space to yourself. I am in there once a week or so on Sundays and I've never seen it get rowdy.

I have had Brightspeed (formerly Quantum) for about a year now and hope I never have to go back to Mediacom. No data limits, much faster speeds, and a significantly lower price per speed. Have only experienced 1 service outage. I had to search a little to find how to contact customer service, but once I found it I was pretty much immediately put in a chat with someone.

I would say go for it. You won't be in any contract so you can always switch back to another ISP.

This is the first outage we have had, but it has lasted about 7 hours now. Fortunate to still have cell phones to use as hot spots! I, too, spoke with bright speed. They said they are aware of it and have already submitted a repair ticket. Sucks, but it is still more reliable than the last guys...

If you drink, sweetboys for p-ball. Otherwise it's 1984. While you are downtown I would try Bruno's for Italian (get the limoncello cake if they have it). Kai if you want sushi, never had a bad bite there. If you hate money and don't know how to make your own steak, Flame is the place for you! The Order is pretty nice and have pretty good cocktails, but I never go there as a first choice.

Mimi's Soul food, Brew Co, or Rama Thai. I don't know how many you are wanting to seat, but all of these can do middle sized groups and are family friendly.
