Police are lied to every day all day. Be honest and just explain what the situation is. Most likely, if everything else is fine, they will understand and tell you to get it taken care of soon. I got pulled over with noninspection and reg out of date. Said get it taken care of and no ticket. They have better things to do. Good luck

I would put my vote in for Gardiner. It seems to have more going on and a nice little downtown. A handful of independent eateries to. Lisbon is ok has a few really nice restaurants, 1 chef earning a james beard nomination but no real downtown to speak of. Look into Brunswick area as well. Lots of everything close by, young vibe with Bowdoin college. Easy travel with 295, and route 1 for coastal. May remind you more of your current location. Just my opinion, good luck.

I worked at a market that gave tons of large items to a local food bank. They will make items such and sandwiches and things of that nature. Also hot meals, it will be used as an ingredient.

Any food bank would be happy to take the donation. Especially now with Porrland having the homeless problem growing by staggering numbers. Food banks will take anything with donations getting tight. Good on you for thinking about donating it then worrying about it not being appreciated. They will very much so. If you feel strange just donating mayo add a few cans of something if you can.

Just my 2 cents, buy used. I bought 2 kayaks and a sup all used for half the price new and it was well worth it. I have 2 sit on top cause we fish but also juist paddle around for fun. If you want to cover ground, go standard yak for speed and covering more area. The sit on top are very stable but slower from what I experienced. So make a list of what you want to get out of it and go from their. On the water is all that matters that's were the magic is. Enjoy friend
