We use Heartguard and Nexguard and have to do so year round. Talk to your vet about alternatives for your dogs.

Waterford, Niantic and the Lyme area are all beautiful areas. I don't know about the social life though.

Contact your local government official. They often have contact with the company and get more accurate estimates.

Vusit the Noah Webster House in West Hartford or hike up to Heublein Tower for a great view. Hartford is close, you can go ice skating in downtown Hartford's Bushnell Park pond, also, the visit the Connecticut Science Center, Wadsworth Atheneum or Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe houses in Hartford.

Yes, I agree. It has a very small footprint, and you can be out of the city and into something like country in minutes.

Reply to Aquarion a subsidiary of eversource recently aquired my towns public water. I am the only person still furious about this corporations absurd monopoly in CT? by writingonthefall
We used to have a private community well, funded by our community, which was great until the well started to fail and we had to pay hundreds of dollars a month to have water trucked in. Aquarian bought our system and it was such a relief. The state regulates what the company can charge us and it is a very reasonable amount. If you really want to avoid paying a utility for your water, buy a house with its own well. That will have its own headaches and expenses though.
