I was once at a light after a beer from the bar and police cut us off. Like sunshine and Campbell. Lady got out of her cop SUV and walked car to car to tell us we'd have to go further down Campbell instead of sunshine. Giant wreck. I said nothing the whole time and nodded then she went to the other car. I was scared there for a minute they were about to test everyone. I'm sure a beer with some nachos over the course of an hour probably in the legal limit. Ate at tacos del Gordo #2 with my brother. Used to go every pay day.

That is to say no but I sure was scared for a nin

The ADL actually has articles tracking the organizations that do this stuff. You should report incidents that happen to the ADL it may not help in a prosecution but it will help them track incidents and their frequency which is useful for judging a lot of things including radicalization

Iirc last year people were taking down or defaming the white power stickers people placed all over town. Missouri has always somewhat been a home base for the kkk. I don't understand how they recruit though. Gen Y and Grn Z and presumably Gen Alpha are rather progressive on average. I guess conspiracy thinking is cult-like and anyone can get caught up in it. Which is probably the purpose of these

An except from the Wikipedia article about secular theology

>advocated a nuanced approach to scripture, as opposed to Biblical literalism, informed by scholarship and compassion which he argues can be consistent with both Christian tradition and a contemporary understanding of the universe. Secular theology holds that theism has lost credibility as a valid conception of God's nature.[3] It rejects the concept of a personal God and embraces the status of Jesus Christ, Christology and Christian eschatology as Christian mythology without basis in historical events.[4][5]

I recommend you read more if you're interested. I think scripture is meant to be continually reinterpreted to derive new meaning from--somethint fundiesare practically incapable of doing with rigid and inflexible, hateful views of what to apply. I'm at work or else I'd ramble more.

You know the biggest voting bloc on the left are Christians. I am trans and Christian. Secular Christian but still. About 65% of lefty voters are Christian or catholic.

But I think even many people on the right would know this is fake news though. It's not uncommon at all for some hooligans to come along and make ridiculous claims in the name of God. Happens all the time. The people that do buy this stuff tend to be desperate and hurt. Which is why I think it is particularly bad to lie about claims like these, because of the type of people they prey on that are searching for help wherever they can find it.

I spent a significant amount of my time after work today trying to find a good fps rpg. I'd play RAGE but don't want to download like 70 gb over my Hotspot

I did find another called elex I intend to try when I finish up my current games. You might check it out. Elex 2 has a good following

Fallout, bioschock, and borderlands, to me, seem like the best fps rpgs with a lot of polish but thats not a very important because I discovered today the genre is really, truly untapped in the way fallout presents it. Most shooter rpgs are 3rd person or isometric when paired with open world elements especially. This seems really weird to me because fps rpgs are not a new thing. System shock 2 comes to mind as a classic and one that inspired literally several genres or themes of games.

Tbf I think first puberties boon ends for most at 25 and then there begins a subtle lifelong decline to the endocrine system starring around 25-30 that is exponentially worse and down regulated by 60 for most? It kind if makes sense, I think, that without modern medicine a lot of people would not he expected to live to a number such as 90. So 30 is at least ⅓ of the way there. I can kind of see why 36. Buy I'm just trying to come up with random justifications for the number idrk anything

I kind of feel like selling desperate people a lie of curative magic through faith is morally wrong though. I remember reading about a baby whose teeth almost completely rotted out because the mom feared fluoride, dentists, and bought into new age conspiracy stuff.

There are many, many cases of people being sucked into things that mislead them because they are hurt and desperate for help. I think the fact they even fabricate lies like this is at least knowingly manipulative if not nefarious and reflects on their character. Do they think their congregation is stupid? Is this supposed to be some moral lesson about false prophets? Like how do you spin this type of behavior in a good light?

I don't think I've ever met one that was hateful tbh.

There was a very cool guy that cut my hair and did my, now faded highlights when started transition. You'd think he was gay (lisp and mannerisms and all that and catty) but he apparently has a wife and kids. He was very cool about it though. If I can find him I will message you.

I quit in November as well after 2 long years of drinking every day. Proud of you. It really is worth it. I'm more social now and functional.

Though tbh leading up to quiting I had already gotten down to a few times a month by that point. I realize I mostly drink to self medicate. Treating dysphoria and its symptom illnesses like disassociation. Depression. Anxiety. Etc. Gradually through transition I just stopped. I think because I started to pass and some people tell me that I'm sort of pretty (6/10 but I'll take it.) So I got to a point I thought "why do I even drink anymore?" And realized not even cause I want to but because it was literally a habit to do it.

the extra money is nice tho
