As someone who grew up in Middlesex County there is plenty to do(in some areas that is).

Central Mass is pretty affordable, once you hit Metrowest it gets pricey.

So what if I already filed and got my return? Do I need to amend it? I didn’t itemize not sure if that matters.

I managed just fine while I was in college(Framingham area) there are plenty of bars along Rt 9 (Golden Triangle)and it was only about a 20 minute drive via the pike into Boston if we wanted to go clubbing. About the same via Rte 9 if we wanted to hit up Worcester too.
