Hysteria.
Rain always smells weird this time of year because theres so much road salt everywhere. And the rain rehydrates the dissolved salt on our vehicles, leaving dark muddy spots, that people think are "acid rain".
That being said, things are much different in East Palestine, OH.

Makes sense. The law unfairly targets towns that have already been increasing housing density.

Seems a bit high, though I don't know the specs of your water heater. Is it extra fancy?
I recently got an emergency hot water heater installed on a Sunday of a holiday weekend for $2700. It would have been $2200, but there was an extra $500 for holiday/emergency install.
The install took all of ~20 minutes. Drain, remove, install, connect.

I'd argue the suburbs nearly always have better bars and restaurants than anything Boston offers.

Maybe in some cases. But in a lot of cases, they lead to high crime, which leads to zealous policing, which leads to higher arrest/incarceration rates for individuals living within these projects, thus defeating any beneficial help the stability this type of housing provides.

Letting apartments sit vacant drives up demand for the other apartments nearby.
A landlord who owns multiple properties directly benefits from keeping demamd high.

Welcome to Medford.
The amount of money/nightlife that could be accrued in downtown Medford if we only kicked out all the retirees from those massive nursing homes err, uh, "residential towers" right on Riverside and by Wellington.

If they're going slow like that, I hang back, and then wait for a gap and shoot around/past them.
Added bonus: Usually freaks them out.

You did not say that he asked if the "guy" behind him could hear him...you explicitly said "black guy".
