I've known a family to move out of a good district because their kid was special needs and the district couldn't/wouldn't handle it. I would only recommend you know the district you're moving into would be willing to step up for your child's needs.

That's a strange take from the Mayor. Senior housing is great for town coffers. Lots of tax revenue, little use of town resources (schools).

Providence Airport is on the commuter rail already. If they ever operate high speed trains (hah) it could be 30.min from south station.

Don't forget all the traffic from people who have to get to/from Logan by car compounding regular city traffic.

I had to drive 30min out and back to daycare that closed early. That is exactly what happened.

Lived in both Framingham and Norwood. Natick has a nicer town center than Framingham, if that matters to you and you like walk ability. Framingham has been Up and coming for the last 15 years, but maybe the new apartment complexes downtown will finally improve things. Most spots in Framingham will make a nicer commute to Marlborough either via route 9 or the pike.
BJs and Target are right near the on ramp in Framingham. You could alternatively hit Costco after work in Dedham. $2k-$3k should get you a nice place (I haven't rented in a while) and the only reason I'd pick Natick over Framingham would be proximity to something you particularly feel the need to be close to (like a better town center).

I believe the US was one of the only Western countries to recommend a mask for children under 5. If my memory is correct, it might have been as high as 12 for most of the EU.
If you look at who's actually being hospitalized/dying of COVID, masking in school doesn't make sense.

My wife just got back from Target (Westwood) Sunday and said no kids tylenol or Motrin. I guess we're lucky both kids are on the back end of being sick now.

Even if you wanted to, there isn't anywhere in relatively close distance where you could realistically do it. Express Train to MHT or PVD might make them viable options.
It is a sad use of what would now be quite valuable real estate. Including homes under the flight path that are now less valuable.

The '93 movie had super mario world (snes) as source material, maybe not even that when they began production. Not exactly a lot to work with.

Jimmy Carter killed his reputation by wearing a sweater on TV and asking people to turn down the thermostat a few degrees.
Using less is the only real, honest solution, but we'll run out of fuel long before anyone is willing to suggest it. The idea that American's should be slightly uncomfortable is heresy.

The problem of the walk score is it doesn't account for how likely you are to walk to close-by amenities.
If you live half a mile from a super Walmart, technically it would give you a high walk score given all it provides 'walking distance' from your home.

Watch one of mrbeast's scratch ticket episodes. Pretty much shows how this pans out with enough scratchers.
