Thanks for the heads up. Haven’t been by there in a bit but will def be more cautious.

Just an FYI for some - Had some issues with quality/ freshness of some packaged goods from instant rices and so forth, almost like goods were facing drastic temp changes while in transit, unless exp dates were mislabeled.

I mean, granted this is in the burbs but whenever I walk my fams dog we toss the bags in a planter next to the garbage cans and when the last bag goes out prior to collection we toss them in and tie it up. I feel like if I were a garbage man I don’t feel like grabbing other people shit. It’s not a tall ask for owners to find a better place to toss.

And I totally get that. Tbh I’m sick of our political machine (on both sides), the nepotism and so forth. I’m definitely biased because I’ve run into him more and have just candid convos about cost of living, raising families in our area and so forth and he seems to get it. I get that he’s a political, that’s their job. It just seems like he’s not jaded (yet). That being said, I think it’s worth giving it a shot.

On the other hand, as constituents, we need to start holding the local machine more accountable. The joke of the Degise situation being the most recent egg on their face, I don’t care what party you are, I’m just tired of all the bullshit. Push term limits, push elected official reform when it comes to active investigations and so forth. And bring back campaign financing reform. We’re getting screwed each which way.

I disagree about the lights but info think consistency is key. Putting multi way stops is a great start and has definitely improved safety on jersey avenue. Just need to be consistent. The more people drove in the areas the more they will get used to it.

Just as long as you’re using your own electric and it doesn’t inconvenience anyone else I don’t see what the big deal would be. Will be interesting if we can build the infrastructure into light polls etc and just have a card swipe feature on them to pay to charge down the road. I see that maybe creating an annoyance if parking isn’t exclusively for Evs but wishful thinking things will even out based on future supply and demand.

There was also tech I saw in the UK being developed where there were the equivalent of pop up chargers staggered like working meters. I think as cities work on their future planning we will see the tech pop of over here.
