At some point you’d have to factor in the cost difference between renting at such a high price point vs buying a condo in the area. Not to say that makes sense for everyone but the rents around here are so mind boggling and my mortgage has stayed basically the same for years

That really sucks. Hoboken will call you to tell you to move your car if you’re in a no parking zone (though I believe that only applies to parking permit holders I could be wrong). If it’s happening that frequently, it could be worth it to just start taking walks by your car every couple days. Not the most practical thing but that sounds like the simplest solution

I was once behind a JC cop that was blocking a one way because he parked to go into a bakery to buy a cake. The procession of cars literally waited to watch him go into the bakery, buy the cake, walk out, open his trunk, put the cake in the trunk, then drive off. That was … not the best showing ..

I take 126 out of Hoboken and the bus comes and goes when it pleases. It’s more or less every 15 minutes or so, so I don’t keep track of how late or how early the bus arrives. I do know that if the bus leaving from port authority is either full or doesn’t see anyone else in line, they leave rather than wait for the departure time to leave
