Agreed. But most people don't understand the phrase "classical liberal." They just think you mean "liberal but not a progressive liberal."

I believe in traditional libertarian principals: fiscal conservatism, social liberalism, and that government works best when it is closest to those it serves.

Don't be assholes. Some of the libertarians who moved to the Keene area (a small portion) have made complete asses of themselves, effectively doing more harm to the cause of liberty than good. Since the 1980s I used to tell people that I was a libertsrian. I no longer am willing to use that word to describe myself because a small number of loudly offensive people have destroyed it for the rest of us.

You left the scene of an accident. When you did that, you went from one guy clearly being wrong, to there being two guys who are clearly in the wrong.

Bite the bullet and call the police in the justification where it happened.

It's time to let it go. We can either want what feels best for NH or what we know to be best for the entire nation.

The first few states should be demographically representative of the country as a whole. Iowa & NH do not meet that standard.

Before you accuse me of being new to NH ... I was born here in the 1960s and I've lived here my entire life.

I don't think New Hampshire's gone particularly to the left. Both major parties seem to have drifted further towards their extremes. What you see in New Hampshire politics is largely more moderate candidates winning elections at the state level. Over the past 20 years, our governors have traditionally been moderates, weather Democrat or Republican. Our US senators have tended to be on the moderate side as well regardless of party affiliation.

I'm an election official, in Keene. You can show up with the MA ID card. Since you registered late, I'm not sure that your name will be listed on the voter role sheets (I'm not sure what the cutoff date was). If not, you'll go through the new voter registration process, and you'll swear an affidavit that you reside within the town/Ward where you are voting.

Bottom line... If you show up at your correct polling place, you WILL be able to vote. You may need to go through a few extra steps, but the poll workers will walk you through every step of the process.
