I lived there recently on Avery Street. We moved because we bought a house close to family. We felt generally safe, but we had a townhome and took our dog to the bathroom in the back courtyard at night. Below East Ohio Street to the Giant Eagle is significantly more sketchy than the area from East Ohio to the hospital. Walking your dog around the fountain should cause no issues. It all depends on where the place is located.
You will hear sirens, helicopters, fireworks from Pirates games and every other event, and other city noises. The benefits were the proximity to so much of the city and also a cool little neighborhood that hasn't completely caught on yet.

Tickets are cheap. Person ordering couldve tipped an amount that would also cover the ticket.

Was this a Mozart apartment? I lived on the corner of N Highland and Bryant and had similar rent a few years ago.

I did not know that. Is there a reason for this? Sounds like something that should be changed.

Last year I was in that bike lane and some boomer in a convertebile drifted into it, spooking my SO who usually only rides on trails. I loudly said "mind the bike lane" and he lost his shit. He swerved over, slammed on his brakes, kept yelling at me, and eventually stopped to get out of his car and started coming at me.
They should have moved the parking closer to the road and protected the bike lane behind the parking. There's so much room for them to do that.

Luck and rich parents allow some people to be persistent through failures. Congrats to them, but some poor folks only have one failure and they are forever down. Being mindful of this isn't jealousy, it is being realistic.

San Francisco Wild wings at Mad Mex are fantastic. The chicken is fried better than many wing places.
Garlic Parm with a side of Buffalo from Pizzeria Davide are also amazing.
Streets on the Fly food truck does the most tender and decadent wings I've had.
