Traffic patterns. Every few years or so they rotate the boston air traffic patterns. There are a variety of reasons but one of them is local noise pollution. Unfortunately airplanes are noisy and any people who live by a major airport are going to get some noise from low flying craft. However it was decided when Logan was being built that east boston would have born the brunt of that noise pollution. As a middle ground that agreed to rotate the incoming air traffic to fly over from a number of different directions on a rotating basis. You’re probably just in the new pattern route. It won’t last too long. Just try and get used to it and you won’t even notice after a while

You need to lawyer up! Also… it would be a shame if local media got word of this. Whole house of newly built homes don’t have water? Seems like someone in the town government made a MASSIVE mistake in approving these homes to be approved for build. Likely the town will be on the hook to ensure remediation. Again - lawyer up

Oh I misread. Helicopter parents or helicopter presents? I know what helicopter parents are but what are helicopter presents? Like gifts of toy helicopters? Maybe he mistyped “presents”. Doesn’t seem to make sense otherwise

We teach “balanced literacy” or “structured literacy” or “modern literacy theory”. All kind of the same thing to be honest. Works very well for most kids but a small minority do better with other methods. Phonics is good but it also has problems especially learning to read English. Teaching phonics in Spanish immersion works well because the language has more fixed rules.

Perhaps I’m crazy but we bought in 2015 for 400k and then did a refi for 3% interest. So now we’re sitting on a house worth 950k with a mortgage balance of 250k at 3%. We want to move but literally can’t give this up without being worse off! I wonder if this is why there is no inventory in greater boston. We can’t be the only ones. And if so - it’s unlikely to change any time soon

If you are a woman and near Nashua check out women’s mental health of Nashua. They tend to cater to regular folk so it’s not super expensive. I don’t k ow your situation but if drugs are involved this is a great resource. Best of luck and I hope you find peace soon. ❤️

Lexington and concord for good schools and off rush hour commute to Boston.

May I also humbly suggest some of the coastal towns north and south of the city. You can get great schools, beautiful homes on large lots, and proximity to boston for the right price. If you’re going to live in a costal state - might as well live close to the beach

You can go to Maine and Vermont no problem. And there are some nice things there. If you want to go to MA or NY just leave the gun at home. There is no need for it in Boston or NYC. In fact if people in those cities see you have a gun on you expect to have a conversation with police that results in your weekend plans getting ruined.

But yeah NH loves guns and you’ll fit right in in some of the more rural areas
