They are used in large crowds to have an elevated view to see into the crowd and communicate where issues are to other cops that are on foot

They think that a lot of stores and restaurants might be closed due to a federal/bank holiday. It’s not a crazy thought, since, historically, a lot of stores and restaurants close for Easter.

Don’t know much about Dugan, but if this article is true, then he’s better than Zappala

Eh, I’m mad at the users for not being good neighbors. You need a scooter, fine. Take the extra 30 seconds to find an appropriate place to park it.
Edit to add: this strikes me as someone who says “don’t blame the company for doing the thing the government lets them do”, but would turn around to “stop the government forcing companies to do things” if they did enact real regulations.

Ah yes, this persons driveway is the real issue.

I mean, they were abandoned on your property, so as far as I’m concerned you now own them. Spin will probably feel differently, but if you have the money and are feeling petty, it could be an interesting court case.

Seems like half the posters in this sub just moved here and don’t understand the weather yet.
For people that haven’t been here long: it could be 75 degrees on st Patrick’s day, and then snow for Easter. Snow after tax day is maybe the start of uncommon.

Yep. Been in regent square for 4 years and have had my power go out for anywhere from 10 minutes to 24 hours every few months. Looks like my power came back at about 2am this time, so 3-4 hours out.

It’s Reddit for people that had a functioning family growing up, and didn’t have unsupervised fun.

Basically they said the delco suburbs are all strip malls with chain places, and that they weren’t expecting that

Delco is the opposite side of a pretty big state. The city vs suburb divide is still true in Allegheny county, but if you are new to delco, and not from Allegheny, maybe this isn’t the place for you. These are very different counties, and Pittsburgh and Philly are VERY different cities.

Milk is mostly water. If the chemicals dissociate in water, they will also dissociate in milk.

It’s pretty easy to knock down someone on stilts. It’s much harder to knock down a horse.
