Be situationally aware. At all times. Pay attention to your surroundings. Don’t stand toward the edge of the metro platform. Don’t engage with someone road raging on the beltway - or any road. If they pull a dick move, let it go. Someone’s always being asshole on the roads.

Depends on how old/lifespan of the pool. Do you value having a pool? They'll add to your home owners insurance as well as the cost of maintenance. Are you ok with those costs?

Pools can be a ton of fun in the warmer months and if you like to host parties, having a pool is a nice bonus. Some of the best summer days for me are spent poolside with friends.

If the pool is in good shape and you'll enjoy it - leave it. If it needs a lot of work and you don't want the long-term costs & maintenance, fill it in.

It depends on the style you're looking for. I got married at an historic, boutique hotel downtown and it was everything and more. But I know that's not for everyone. My cousin got married at the Four Seasons and that was beautiful as well. A friend got married at Chevy Chase United Methodist then had a brunch reception at La Ferme (not in the district, I know.) Another friend had the ceremony at Dahlgren Chapel and the reception at the Four Seasons.

This makes me sad. I always loved the Gallerie 😢
