I was paying almost 18 cents/kWh for a company called Xoom Energy. It took me for quite a loop honestly. My bill has never been that high and holy shit it has hit the pocketbook along with the price of home heating oil at the same time.

Now I know that some of you are complaining about PP&L rates, but I honestly feel its probably the best thing I could do right now considering all the circumstances, Those that are doing the sub 10 cent plans prepare for a mind boggling experience as most of those plans I'm sure have it built in that it the rate will increase after 6 months or something like that and if you do a early termination its going to cost you some big money.

No matter what is playing out in the utility company arena we are the ones in the end going to get the sausage

Yes and no. The state sold the land to a few parties that owned area property around the area including Pitreal Inc, a subsididary of Pagnotti Enterprises based out of Wilkes Barre.

From what I understand part of the process included a particular section of the Grafitti Highway being filled in with a barrier to keep people out. Penn Dot helped with this project by allowing their drivers "driver training" when they took loads of dirt back there to make the dirt mounds.

Its still used today by a significant number of motorcross and ATV riders to this day. It really hasn't stopped anyone that truly wants to get through

As I tell others, "Anything you can do in Microsoft Windows you can do better in Linux".

To answer your questions and get back on topic I'll keep it short here:

  1. Browsers do work the same
  2. VPN's work excellent. I use NordVPN
  3. Steam is native to Linux
  4. I use multiple video players, although I find that VLC works best for my needs
  5. I can multiple streams open at the same time without any problems. In Windows this isn't possible
  6. A very easy beginner distribution http://www.linuxmint.com Multiple others can be found at distrowatch.com
  7. Search Reddit or Facebook for Linux support groups

I get what you are stating, but this would be illegal in Pennsylvania. If it was in Philadelphia I wouldn't put it past them to do it, but I'm telling you if it happened in Pennsylvania it is highly suspicious at best.

Probably Fire Police if it were in the Montgomery County area. Fire Police are sometimes a odd bunch. They will buy a used cruiser and then put all their whack-a-mole lights on it along with antennas to give it that cool look.
What people may not know is that a PA Fire Police Officer only has to be a member of a volunteer fire department in the state. There is nothing in the PA State statutes that prohibit them from their services being used throughout the state.

Source: I've studied this stuff that was taught by a Pennsylania State Police instructor. Some people are also under the impression that a fire police officer may not posess a firearm... And this of course would be false as well. If they use it for protection or for personal carry it passes the sniff test. If they use it in the performance of their duties it would be illegal.
