Data exchange in network traffic is usually encrypted. If they really tried, it could also be obfuscated in other ways, so there's no real way to know if they're really spying or not.
You can only fully trust it if the OS and its relevant application components are open source. so that you exactly know what it does.

Unconfirmed, but the differences would only be the battery and screen sizes

The chances of this chip breaking is as low as the SoC itself breaking

Their code is all closed-source, so it's not confirmed if they're really spying on you or not. You're just trusting their marketing.

I don't trust Facebook either, but it's hard to believe until you have hard evidence.
Also, with the way encryption in applications is implemented, it's kind of hard for Meta to know what the plaintext contents of your messages are. The UK wouldn't even ask for this in the first place if WhatsApp used some shoddy implementation that allows them to read all of your personal messages.

That's literally the same thing as what Apple is doing... it's not a bonus, it's breaking compatibility maliciously.

No, it's because makers like OnePlus force users to buy only their proprietary chargers and cables to have access to their advanced fast charging features

It's actually really good value for the performance you get out of these things. They are also built really well with nice display panels compared to most similarly specced PC laptop counterparts.

I know. USB-C can accommodate for a wider range of data transfer speeds and protocols, which is one reason why it's better than Lightning.

Then why would this legislation be dumb? Many laptops already support high-watt USB-C charging. USB-C also would allow for higher speed data transfers on the iPhone. You can use the same charger for everything.
