Snap. I always thought of him as a pretty boy pin up. Then he stole The Departed from a stacked cast. Since then he has been in some of my favourite movies - Inception, Body of Lies, OUATIH etc.

Come and See. For my money it’s the best war movie ever made. It’s not easy to watch and does an alarmingly effective job of breaking down the barrier between the viewer and the protagonist.
