Holy crap! I haven't ever considered this. I'm on leave right now, too. I used to be a financial advisor (used to be, so this is just my opinion), and I would definitely suggest withholding your own taxes with the intent to pay them out of pocket come tax time. The US Government usually takes any opportunity to tax your income, so I would expect this to be the same.

I get what you mean. I'm pretty sure there's only one Tri-Cities, WA. Or, only one that the general population would know. And since this is a Washington subreddit, that's why I threw that out there. But yes, people in Washington generally know that Tri-Cities is a specific place in Southeast Washington.

When I was a driver's Ed teacher, I told my students that the horn was the least used tool for most drivers. It's one of the best things to use and NEEDS to be used way more often! If they wouldn't honk, I would do it for them (if it wasn't a dangerous moment, of course). Drivers are especially apt to cut off drivers' ed cars to get in front of them, so I would warn them and tell them that they should honk if someone is making things dangerous for their driving.
