If your budget is around $300, just get the B2 or B2Dusk, which were released like 3 years ago. Nothing coming out at that price point will beat either of those. Also, unlike other things, good headphones don't really become obsolete. For example, the Focal Clear og was released like 5 years ago, and it's still considered great even when compared to the new stuff coming out.

I have been using Amazon HD for a year, but recently signed up for Apple music because I have a free 6-month trial period when I bought my AirPod Pro 2. I quite like the Apple UI, but I will note that if you use WiiM Mini (which I do), you will need to stream over Airplay, which is not lossless. Moreover, I've noticed that streaming Airplay to WiiM will cause some tracks to stutter, which is very annoying. I also don't like that Apple music doesn't incorporate podcasts.

Probably should’ve asked the sub before buying… but if you think they sound good then that’s all that matters. If you could do it all over, all you really need is Senny HD560s and the AirPod Pro 2.

I'm always intrigued by this because I can't even take phone calls through IEMs (as I can't hear myself speak and it's very distracting). So I presume the musician can hear everything including their own voice without any noticeable delay?

All I can say is that I doubt anyone can tell a difference between DSD and Flac. Hell, I can't even tell a difference between 320kbs MP3 files and 24/96 flac files. Nor can I tell a difference among different dacs.

Because there’s nothing wrong with the focal clear og and b2dusk that needs to be eq’d away. I like their stick sound so why bother?

That's great that you noticed a difference because I cannot tell a difference between the Apple Dongle and the Topping DX3 Pro+ and FiiO KA3, all three of which I own.

I think the Apple AirPod Pro 2 meets this criteria, and it uses AAC. Mic enabled, stereo sound, and last I saw latency is around 120ms.
