Camden has a violent crime rate of 13.78 per 1000 residents. Washing heights has a violent crime rate of 11.7 per 1000

Yes but it appears that OP is from Texas. After living in Texas in one of the best school districts I’m comfortable saying that even some of our worst districts are better than almost all of the Texas public schools.

Maplewood/South Orange gets a ton of under 40 transplants both with and without kids from the Bay Area. We’ve had two on our street from SF/Oakland area in the last year and my street has less than 10 houses. Highly recommend. With it being a college town there’s lots of young people as well and easy transportation to the city.

All of us except brand new drivers. Pretty much everyone in NJ has left the state at some point.

Many districts don’t have busing and if they do it’s only if you live 2+ miles away. Parents should be carpooling though.
