Reply to A new study suggests that too much screen time during infancy may lead to changes in brain activity, as well as problems with executive functioning — the ability to stay focused and control impulses, behaviors, and emotions — in elementary school. by Wagamaga
Anecdotally valid. I was placed in a bouncy chair and watched The Wiggles, Thomas the Tank Engine, and other such shows when I was an infant. My attention, emotions, and self-control are almost nonexistent, I never did any drugs until I was 18, and I’ve been evaluated in many ways that have proven I don’t have any mental disorders (ADHD and the like).
Glided through school due to intelligence and benefits it has that apply to the rote school system, but my executive functioning is just about as good as it was when I was a kid (early 20’s now).

Nope. Can’t stop. If anything, it would drive it further.

Just beware of high concentrations of THC and it’s effects on mental health, bodily regulatory processes, etc. (as proven through funded research). Should be saved for those who have severe pains and diseases/physical disorders.

People here saying how were lucky there’s not one too close, but this little guy was here before we discovered it. For all we know Voyager II could have just been lost to a small black holes just a couple of minutes ago.

The planet has always been trying to help us, but we’ve become so complex in comparison to our ancestors that we can’t help ourselves.

Unfortunately, the current industries are churning and are fueled by the modern mechanics we’ve designed. We have to examine the mechanics of the universe and mimic it, just as our ancestors had to.
Hell, just last night I was singing with a water bottle on the table and watched it vibrate when I hit the perfect pitch. Doesn’t take a rocket surgeon or a beyond-basic knowledge of physics to come to these conclusions.
