Won't the kids have their own SSN? I think your argument is flawed.
>My sarcastic point is that in a free country, we don't need permission from the government to buy anything.
We don't live in a free country. If you've ever tried to buy a firearm, you'd know this.

Charge them out the yin-yang and when things back-up at the treatment plant, just dump the effluent directly into Puget Sound. In other words, business as usual.

Given the choice, I wouldn't want to live in a single-family home next to a stack box multi-family home. All of a sudden my 6' privacy fence needs to be 30' tall and the street is littered with fights over tight on-street parking. No thanks.

>Only one vehicle per SSN. That would help with climate change and reduce roadway wear and tear right?
Why does it matter how many vehicles a single person owns? Only one of those vehicles can be on the road at a time.

In another article it mentions he was arrested at his parents' home in a gated community. From looking at a map of the area, it appears to be a developed suburban neighborhood.

I don't see what cameras are going to do to help here. Do you really think the perpetrators destroying a substation are going to waltz up there barefaced or wear clothing that would identify them? Or that they would look for cameras and disable them?
Heck, porch pirates can wear a mask and hoodie and get photographed by a Ring camera located 3 ft away and the cops still have no idea who they are.

Buy one of these, then bolt your laminated MDF sides, footboard, and headboard to it if you want the same look as what you have. Then throw away what's left of the old frame.

This reminds me of junk furniture my stepkids find for cheap/free at a yard sale and then bring it to my house to fix.
If it were me, I'd get some 1x4s, rip it to 3" wide and use that to make an apron under the table to connect the legs to each other. I'd run screws through the side of the leg and into the end of each apron piece, plus epoxy glue on the apron ends that contact the legs), and then glue/screw the apron to the underside of the table.
You do that, and it's not going anywhere. And that is about as cheap as it gets without having to replace the legs.

They aren't in the shops long enough to open a safe. They are stealing merchandise. They are in there and out of there in less than 60 seconds.
The stolen merchandise is easily sold on the street. No one wants to talk about that though because it doesn't fit the narrative of "if only they were allowed to take credit cards..." or "The ATF should reclassify marijuana so that these robberies don't take place!".
You don't see other businesses that have a lot of cash on hand getting robbed like this. Why do you think that is? It's not the cash. It's the merchandise.
