You should definitely check out Horn of the Abyss for HoMM3 if you haven't.

It's a pretty awesome mod that was made with a few of the original devs that adds a new faction and some QOL improvements like better resolutions for larger and higher quality displays, also (not to bury the lede) simultaneous turns, which is awesome when playing online with the added server list.

What's even more terrifying is the fact that new scientific data shows it will, in fact, happen 2 days before the day after tomorrow.

It REALLY depends on the licorice. A friend of mine like this Scandinavian stuff, the taste of which is nearly impossible to describe. The intense mix of salt and sour felt like it actually damaged my sense of taste.

Then you have the super tame (by comparison) stuff like black jub-jubs or jelly beans, which I absolutely love.

What really drew me in initially was the fact that the routes you take become more traversed over time. It's cool to see your offshoot paths eventually become well trodden roads.

What keeps bringing me back to it is the physics. Once you get used to the controls and start to really push them to their limits, you can fly through areas like nobody's business, sprinting down mountains and jumping huge gaps.

I can't recall having any of these issues in TLOU, but it's been a long time since the first. I definitely did not have any of these issues in TLOU2.

Some of the animations got a bit janky when I really started pushing the game, like switching directions mid-mantle or taking down enemies in certain situations, but overall, it felt pretty smooth.

Terrain is taken into consideration while firing weapons, with them launching actual projectiles instead of just registering the damage wherever you were aiming. Terrain can also block you from aiming your weapons if there is not enough room.

The platforming is still a bit rough sometimes, but being in control of the camera in most cases makes the controls pretty intuitive. I probably had maybe 10 deaths in my whole playthrough from falling, and at least a few of those were me just being a dumbass and thinking I could go somewhere I couldn't.

I honestly really enjoyed how TLOU2 felt, mechanically.

Man RIP Pen and Paper roots. Maybe one day we will get another rpg as good as Oblivion, but it's looking pretty bleak, lol.
