Actually, yeah. I've not heard it referred to as such but after googling it seems that short story is very similar. Andy Weir is one of my favorite authors, I'm surprised I haven't read that story yet.

Yeah. The theory dives further into itself explaining that by experiencing all there is to experience only then can you achieve enlightenment. I'm paraphrasing in a major way as I haven't studied that theory in years, but that's the very basic gist.

I mean, it's philosophy. They're all just theories. We're all just meat-mechs controlled by a brain that named itself. Nothing makes sense.

There's a philosophical theory that we're all the same living being. For instance, right now I'm me, but in a past life I was my neighbor or I was Bill Gates, etc. Not really chronological past lives but parallel. The world is populated by a single life form repeated ad infinitum beside itself.
It's funky to ponder that while stoned.

Roku is still pretty damned solid. I use the stick with a wifi remote and only get non-intrusive ads for Roku channel and occasionally something else on the home screen only. This guy is just a dope.

My Spy was way more fun and wholesome than I anticipated. It isn't gonna change the game but it's a solid family comedy. I'm excited to see Bautista continue in the genre rather than get typecast.

Everyone wants his Mountains Of Madness but I don't think many people have actually read that story. Absolutely nothing happens. Nothing. Just some dudes surrounded by snow, then they come across an eldritch horror briefly and run away. The only way to turn that into a decent movie is by adding a whole lot of nonsense which would detract from Lovecraft's original work in a huge way.
The story is great as words on a page. It gets into your head and makes you think on it. Putting it on film wouldn't work.

What's funny to me is that his next movie was called Dragged Across Concrete, yet that action happens in Brawl in quite vivid detail.
