As we head into the growing season, try to find some local farm stands. The one's around me last year had squash @ 5 for a dollar, peppers, onions, and beets out the wazoo. I found one farm stand selling meat from one of their cows, $2.00/lb ground beef, and 2lb bone in ribeye steaks for $7-8 total!

Definitely the best way to get fresh and local produce, though Big Y often carries local when in season as well.

We are known for have a population of ‘fiscally conservative’ individuals, less religious ideal conservatives. MA has the lowest percentage of individuals who identify with any religion so it makes sense. https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2016/02/29/how-religious-is-your-state/?state=massachusetts

(That said if you are religious there are certainly communities here for you and your family)

Plymouth NH. 20 min or less from both major lakes region bodies (Newfound Lake, Squam) and 20 min from WMNF. Better year round population (and cheaper) than Lincoln. Nice downtown and all your major box stores/amenities. Bonus that it's 5 min from Tenney mountain for easy weekday laps (once they finally reopen).

Indy Pass gives you two days at Pats Peak, Cannon, Waterville, and a bunch of other mountains in VT and ME, as well as Berkshire East in MA. Two days at each mountain lets you explore and gives your kids experience at a range of places. Definitely a good deal if you're willing to not have a 'home' mountain. Just look into blackout dates depending on which pass you get. Also check out r/icecoast for more specific info.
