If you use that same logic and apply it to say, Blade Runner 2049, then that movie should have ended Denis Villeneuve's career.
Or Scott Pilgrim for Edgar Wright's.

No, if you look at the user reviews from sites like IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes, people liked it okay enough.

Unsubstantiated rumors aside, his douchey Suicide Squad antics, which reportedly included sending used condoms to his costars (something he later denied, but I could have sworn he himself admitted to doing it in the first place) definitely didn't earn him any fans, especially considering how the film turned out.
As far as acting ability goes, though, he more often than not knocks it out of the park, so I'm not worried about that.

It's almost like people feel better about their crappy lives when they're shitting on someone or something.

Transformers 3 is stunning in 3D. Some of the best usage of depth and parallax I've ever seen.

I can't remember exactly what was said aside from "what the hell was that?!" so I'm already fudging the prompt, but the reactions during and after Killing of a Sacred Deer were hilarious. You could literally feel the bewilderment after.
Also, nothing was said during this exchange, but right after I saw Rambo 4, me and some older dude locked eyes and nodded at each other. It's like we had an innate understanding that we just watched something genuinely badass and could communicate it with a simple look and gesture.

They weren't trying to make a young DeNiro, they were trying to make old DeNiro look like a young-ish Frank Sheeran.

Considering the original ending apparently had Edward Norton's character go back to being a Neo-Nazi, I would and wouldn't be surprised if that was the angle.
