Truly restricting access to materials that could be used to make explosives is incredibly difficult because that’s a category that includes goddamn near everything. I started to give examples and then realized maybe I shouldn’t include a shopping list, but you can build a bomb out of like, three farts and a nine volt battery if you know what you’re doing.

Man I miss the Zune. They weren’t as popular as iPods were but everyone who had them loved them.

I was shocked the fake startup wasn’t Theranos, but then I remembered how much of a mess they were. Salvaging anything from them would be a long shot.

It’s a year old in like a week. The actual patching and updating is easy and in the background, I have never had to go into the system to tweak shit to get it to work.

I have spent basically zero effort “updating and patching” my deck. I have played an embarrassing amount of games on it though.

Some dipshit on Twitter posted a map and said that Russia was justified in what it was doing because it was “surrounded by enemies”. Like, buddy, how do you think that many countries became enemies of Russia in the first place?

The article also has no idea what it’s talking about because it’s based on a comment that someone made up.
I work at Raytheon with access to the same level of material that’s been leaked on the WT forums (export restricted but not otherwise classified) and my background check was just “upload some documents and we’ll call you if anything comes up”.

If it’s a job that doesn’t require clearance (there’s a lot of them) they just use one of those private services and do a generic background check. If it does require clearance they usually want you to have it when you apply.

Also their source for Raytheon asking about it is a guy said an investigator asked about it.
They don’t ask about it.

Falcon Northwest does these. They’re like 4 grand but they do exist.

They’re both very strong oxidizers, and dusts of them can explode because of that. They aren’t really traditional explosives on their own but in the event of a fire in a contained space they can deflagrate or detonate.
