They had a stupid sliding pay scale. The longer you wait, the higher the tickets go. I got my ticket immediately, and was $137 for both days after all the bullshit fees.

Even the warmth doesn't get rid of those early dark days. I go to work, it's dark. I come home, it's dark. That's what does it for me.

I remember being late to church that day because we stayed home to watch the demolition.

I can't even read that without immediately hearing the Century III Chevrolet jingle in my head.

Not Pittsburgh proper, but I can't help but think of all the classic Kennywood rides I had growing up in the 90s that are gone now.

We live in as far south as you can get and still be in Allegheny, and my mom and I did make it a point to stop at the downtown target. 😂 She has a lot more memories of everything it was before, and wanted to check it out.

Yoo, domino's pan pizza is where it's at. Slight up charge, but so worth it. Bacon pineapple pan pizza is my go to.

Right??? I'm a nanny. The kids were sent home yesterday with all their textbooks in preparation for a zoom day. I was looking forward to a lazy morning not rushing kids out the door. It picked up just in time for me not be able to pull the minivan up the driveway after dropping off the elementary kid.

This is me every week. Aldi first for the majority of my produce and canned stuff, Giant Eagle for deli cuts and yogurt because Aldi is always out of those chobani flips.

Love the shop dogs! So friendly. I love going in the middle of the day as they follow you around. Should be noted though, they're a little wary of children.

I say it! I'm 30. But same boat as you. I work as a nanny to kids 13, 11, 9, and 6. None of them have ever heard it. I just assumed its because they're in Peters? But maybe it is just dying out.
