We have a similar case here in Scotland. We're trying to extradite a rapist to the US, but he's making it as difficult as possible. First he claimed he was someone else and now gets wheeled around in an oxygen mask claiming long COVID symptoms. They had a hearing recently and he refused to get in the van to go to court.

I wrote most of the Encyclopedia Dramatica article on Greenpeace when I was a teenager. It's been edited and added to here and there but the bulk of it is still generally what I wrote

Back in the 80s someone snatched an old lady's handbag in front of my dad. My dad chased him and managed to catch him, at which point he gave him a good kicking.
Dragged the guy back to where the old lady was by which point the police had arrived. One police officer was like "What happened to him?" and the senior officer just said "He fell" and they arrested the guy.

Full Scottish breakfast usually has slices of haggis, lorne (square) sausage and tattie scone. I've also noticed our black pudding is sometimes a bit different to the ones you get in England.
We also sometimes have fried fruit pudding or fruit dumpling. Fruit pudding is like a suet sausage with currants and stuff in it and fruit dumpling is more like a cake.

It's actually quite surprising how much of out basic foodstuffs are fortified with other vitamins and minerals. Flour often has Iron, B Vitamins and other stuff added. Oils and spreads have Vitamin D added. Even tap water has some flouride.
