True but you have to ask two questions:
-
when was it created. Things on the east coast are older and the administration of a county the size of Delaware would have been difficult in 1770s. They also took on a lot of historical boundaries that existed during colonial times.
-
A state like Nevada with big counties might make sense as it was a state that developed much later, and is much less dense.
-
even with the changes in advancement of transportation - who's going to vote to get rid of their own autonomy and be merged into a larger entity with neighboring counties that could have differ goals, budgets, etc.

Not sure how Mormons are and more or less of a con than any other organization religion practiced today.
They are all cons (perhaps with different motives) but all generally rely on obedience, dogmatic practices, faith, and other qualities that mimic the Mormons.
We just give a pass to more mainstream religions - often because people grew up in them (or still are).
We refer to Greek and Roman "mythology" but people get really pissed when you call it Christian mythology

Now repeat offenses or blatantly ignoring the law - I'm with you.
Wells Fargo / HSBC makes a business out of breaking the law. Making billions then paying a few hundred thousands in fines.

Yes you can. Yes it's legal. It's also very bad financial planning.
You are giving them money now at 0%. Then you file your taxes. They don't have to pay interest until a period of time for process passes (45 days?) then you start to accrue if they already haven't paid you.
So what's the actual rate once you factor all that in?

They likely were exactly the type of firm to low ball you and waste your time and energy. You just cut to the chase and can now find a job that is worth your time.

If that's the stance your taking, then you need to get more money / earn more income.
Edit for clarity:
You are high risk. No lender wants to loan you money because you likely won't pay them back. too much of your money is on basic needs (housing), and now your going after expensive "wants" without the income to support it. You also are going against financial wisdom.
It's your right. It's just anyone with money is going to be super cautious with you.

It's important in context as well.
If I have the same energy source and in storage and retrieval I lose 50% then yes that's horrible.
But if I'm grounding wind and solar in the day because I just make so much that I don't need it. And at night burn coal because the sun goes away. Storing energy, even at a 50% loss is a huge win.

Check your password reset security questions. Check your email to make sure no one has forwarded your emails.
Also it's likely someone in town has put up a credit card skimmer.

There are several types of Rollovers. They did one, just not the best one for you.
-
you could have trustee to trustee transfer. This is what you wanted based on your description.
-
they can also issue you a check and then have you redeposit it in the allowed timeframe. To do this they don't know if you will just take the cash and run. So they withhold federal taxes.
You need to make up that 4,400 and deposit it with the rest of the money to Schwab and it will be "tax neutral". You will get your $4,400 back at tax return time. If not that $4,400 will be considered a distribution and you will pay penalty and tax on it.
Edit: from the IRS
How do I complete a rollover?
Direct rollover – If you’re getting a distribution from a retirement plan, you can ask your plan administrator to make the payment directly to another retirement plan or to an IRA. Contact your plan administrator for instructions. The administrator may issue your distribution in the form of a check made payable to your new account. No taxes will be withheld from your transfer amount.
Trustee-to-trustee transfer– If you’re getting a distribution from an IRA, you can ask the financial institution holding your IRA to make the payment directly from your IRA to another IRA or to a retirement plan. No taxes will be withheld from your transfer amount.
60-day rollover – If a distribution from an IRA or a retirement plan is paid directly to you, you can deposit all or a portion of it in an IRA or a retirement plan within 60 days. Taxes will be withheld from a distribution from a retirement plan (see below), so you’ll have to use other funds to roll over the full amount of the distribution.

Yeah.... I'd rather have a slower adoption of 5G than a flawed infrastructure that will plague us for decades to come because a state sponsored entity pretends to be cheaper and safer.
Cheap comes at the expense of a state subsidized "extra feature" you don't know about. I can't trust any company that got started by bootlegging competitors products. Early routers still had the damn CISCO logo on the software/firmware.

Have you ever been stuck hold up with people you hate in close quarters.
Yeah. Some of the people murdered their housemates / families.
Another group went back out into the world as things reopened… and killed other people because they had so much built up anger. They also lost all social norms in isolation. Which likely lead to more things that would have ended up as a “fuck you buddie” and instead ended in homicide.
If you have been out in places or driving post COVID you can see how aggressive a subset of people have become.

That or bovine are heard animals from before birth. You would need to replicate this in non-herd / non-pack / non-social creatures to validate that hypothesis

Economics. Short haul flights prefer a smaller aircraft. Longer haul flights prefer a larger.

Dark matter isn't regarded as "not interacting". We know about it because we see observations that don't make sense with the matter we can see.
For example this system has more gravitational pull than makes sense unless there is 25% more matter.
What's that missing matter - dark matter.
Personal I feel that we will eventually find that there is lots of "heavy dust" out there. Perhaps small but dense bits of rock and particle matter that just isn't that visible compared to giant less dense and bright hydrogen clouds.
