Once you're a couple generations back, the risk of inbreeding is pretty minimal. Unless your village is extremely small and insular, or you're European nobility, you're fine.

The cost savings of robots taking over McDonalds is still minimal or non existent. The cost savings of using robots in industrial applications is enormous, and has been advancing continuously at a rapid pace.

Awkward wording. But it's just trying to say that your actions have consequences, and the environment around you is often a product of your behaviour. It's obviously not total - having a grumpy morning didn't start the war in Ukraine, but it might have made your breakfast conversation more unpleasant.
